Barcan+Kirby open applications for their £1,000 community fund

By Miles Arnold  Monday Apr 22, 2024

Award winning law firm Barcan+Kirby has announced the opening of their highly sought after community fund for applications. Established in 2020, this initiative aims to support local not for profit organisations and charities in improving the community. This year, the firm is offering an impressive £1,000 in funding to organisations located in the postcodes surrounding their five offices: BS1, BS3, BS7, BS15, and BS35.

The Community Fund provides flexibility for charities and organisations to utilise the funding in various ways that contribute positively to the community. Previous recipients of the fund include Suicide Prevention Bristol, which used the grant to support the National Suicide Prevention Helpline and essential equipment for their patrol team. Another beneficiary, BS3 Jammin’, directed their funds towards organising a successful community harvest in Southville.

Interested parties can apply for the community funding by visiting the fund page on the Barcan+Kirby website and submitting their applications by May 17. Successful applicants will be notified via email in June.
