Bristol Beer Factory to host popular podcast with free beer
Fancy a free beer while watching a live recording of a popular podcast? Head over to North Street on Wednesday, September 25 from 7.00pm when the actor, comedian and podcast host Chris Grimes brings his podcast and radio show to South Bristol.
The episode will feature Sam Burrows, managing director of Bristol Beer Factory (BFF).
Chris’ podcast and radio show, The Good Listening To Show has built up a keen following for its unique storytelling and ability to discuss both complex and lighthearted topics at ease.
The podcast, which boasts over 2 million listeners across 54 countries invites guests to share their life stories, career journeys, revealing intriguing insights, invaluable tips, and heartwarming anecdotes.
The unique format involves rich storytelling with metaphors like a tree, a juicy exercise called ‘5-4-3-2-1’, some alchemy, a bar of gold, a couple of random squirrels, a cheeky bit of Shakespeare and a cake.
In Wednesday’s episode, Chris will be sitting down with Sam Burrows. Listeners will get to hear the ‘story-behind-the story’ of being BBF and the various projects they carry out in the community such as ‘Clear Head’ beer brand.
Bristol Beer Factory’s first alcohol-free beer, Clear Head was crafted back in 2021 in collaboration with Talk Club, a male mental fitness charity. Five per cent of every bottle or pint sold will go directly to keeping Talk Club sustainable.
In 2023, BBF gave away £80,000 to local charities, registered groups and other good causes through a mix of stock, space and direct support.
The host Chris Grimes has extended an invitation to the people of Bristol for the live recording in his comedic delivery: “You’re invited to a p*ss-up in a brewery!”
The attendees can purchase a free ticket to receive a complimentary drink upon arrival. Doors open from 7pm where the live recording kicks off at 7.30pm. The recording will take place at Studio BBF on 291 North Street. Seating is unreserved, but the attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the best spots.
