Future Leap’s Festival of Sustainable Business Conference to take place on March 14
Future Leap‘s Festival of Sustainable Business Conference is set for March 14 at The Bristol Hotel. It aims to be a crucial catalyst for collective action in the face of the climate emergency. With 2023 declared the warmest year on record and the latest IPCC report emphasising urgent action on greenhouse gas emissions, this annual conference acts as a pivotal platform for businesses to connect and look to the future.
Part of Future Leap’s three part Festival of Sustainable Business, the hybrid conference offers four seminars addressing critical sustainability issues. Topics include B Corp pathways, brand activism, EV charging, and innovative approaches to decarbonising the built environment.
Renowned speakers, such as wildlife cameraman Doug Allan, B Lab UK’s Annie Oliver, and Tesla’s Katharine Marshall will share insights, rallying the business community to contribute to a sustainable future.
Last year’s festival drew 1,500 attendees, with this year’s event anticipating over 1,500 delegates. Supporters, including Mike Barry, former Director of Sustainable Business at Marks and Spencer, and Chris Skidmore, Former Energy Minister, praise the festival’s action oriented approach.
Acknowledging sponsors like Bristol City Leap, 9 Trees, Bevan Brittan, The Discourse, char.gy, and Albert Goodman, Future Leap expresses gratitude for their support. Affordable ticket options ensure accessibility for diverse attendees.
