‘Get shaken and stirred’: Bristol Cocktail Weekend returns
After the success of 2023, a weekend celebration of cocktails and mocktails returns to multiple venues in the city centre.
The weekend-long event promises an array of tipples including martinis, margaritas and many more. Running from September 26 – September 29, the weekend will feature over 30 of Bristol’s top venues, each offering exclusive cocktails and mocktails for tipple lovers to enjoy.
Bristol Cocktail Weekend is being brought to the city by Living For The Weekend founder and director, Alex Nicholson-Evans, and is supported by Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID).

Nicholson-Evans said: “Bristol Cocktail Weekend is back for a second year and it’s bigger and better than ever!
“We’ve got even more bars serving up exclusive £6 signature cocktails and £5 mocktails, a fantastic selection of food offers to keep everyone fuelled and this year’s programme of events presents some truly unique experiences! Whisky candle making anyone?! I cannot wait for September’s event – it’s set to be unmissable for both cocktail connoisseurs and those who want to try something new!”
The Hendrick’s Gin Hub at Bambalan will be at the heart of the action, joined by renowned spots including Milk Thistle, Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The Cocktail Club and The Botanist, with 2023’s Bristol Cocktail Weekend Cocktail of the Year winner, Flight Club, also returning for the chance to reclaim the crown.
Each participating venue will be crafting its very own signature Bristol Cocktail Weekend cocktail for the event, priced at £6, with an accompanying mocktail at £5. As well as unique cocktails crafted specifically for the weekend, some bars and restaurants will also be offering exclusive food pairings and discounts, including a 25 per cent discount on food bills at waterside spot Rick’s at The Bristol Hotel and 25 per cent off sourdough pizzas at Flight Club.
Guests can also head to Filthy XIII to unlock the renowned venue’s signature cocktail and hot dog pairing for just £12 or swing by The Colosseum for a Rump Steak with Chimichurri for just £10.
Elsewhere, the weekend will be overflowing with exclusive cocktail-inspired events. Highlights include a pre-festival five-course cocktail pairing dinner at Hotel du Vin on Wednesday September 25, with each course paired perfectly to a specially crafted cocktail.

Vicky Lee, director of Bristol City Centre BID, said: “Last year’s Bristol Cocktail Weekend was such a success with the amount of people it drew into our amazing venues. Bristol is known for its thriving hospitality businesses and to have more venues on board showing off their incredible offerings is a perfect way to celebrate the industry in a city that loves its food and drink scene as much as Bristol does.”
Bristol Cocktail Weekend is an 18+ event, with tickets available starting at £12.
A wristband grants access to the cocktails and mocktails which have been created exclusively for festival goers.
