Grundon Waste Management are a member of the Bristol24/7 Better Business network.

Grundon, a prominent waste management expert in Bristol, commences the new year with strategic appointments to amplify its local footprint. Taking the role of sales lead is Nick Malvern, Grundon’s 2023 Salesperson of the Year, who brings with him a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. Malvern, previously stationed in Bishop’s Cleeve, is now at the forefront of a dynamic team in Bristol, comprising apprentices Arthur Parfitt and Charlie Powell.

The apprentices, enrolled in the BMS Progress 18 month program, will not only gain essential business skills but will also delve into the intricacies of providing tailored waste management services to the local business community. Malvern expresses his excitement, stating, “It’s great to lead a team of enthusiastic salespeople. This year, we aim to develop meaningful relationships with local businesses that share our values of quality and reliability.”

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

Having established its Bristol presence in 2020 at the St Philips base, Grundon is intensifying its focus on the local market. Daniel Peacey, the regional sales manager for Grundon in the South West, sees these appointments as the final piece of the puzzle in the company’s strategic approach to Bristol. He emphasises that the team, including Malvern, Parfitt, and Powell, will particularly target local, smaller businesses, constituting a significant portion of their customer base.

With continued growth and a steadfast commitment to nurturing local partnerships, Grundon anticipates a successful and impactful year in Bristol, reinforcing its position as a leading force in waste management.

This story is from a member of Bristol24/7’s Better Business Network. Better Business was set up to help Bristol’s businesses meet, collaborate, raise their profile and drive positive change in the local area.
