Kate’s Kitchen strengthens commitment to sustainability with tree planting initiative
With sustainability and environmental responsibility at the heart of its operations, Kate’s Kitchen has joined up with another initiative.
As part of their ongoing efforts to reduce their ecological footprint and give back to the local community, the company has recently sponsored the planting of two trees – one in Greville Smythe Park and the other in Gores Marsh.
In this, Kate’s Kitchen joined forces with Trees for Streets, a national street tree sponsorship scheme, bringing together councils, businesses and communities to transform their local environment.
By supporting this initiative, Kate’s Kitchen aims to make a tangible contribution to the environment and to the community.
“We are so proud to be sponsoring two trees in the Bristol area to help create greener areas with more trees – helping us to breathe in this busy city,” said Kate Ploughman, founder of Kate’s Kitchen
The first tree was planted in Greville Smythe Park, a well-known local park nestled between Brunel Way and North Street, that is a popular gathering place for families and individuals.
The second tree was planted in Gores Marsh on Smyth Road.

These tree plantings are part of a broader strategy at Kate’s Kitchen to incorporate sustainability into all aspects of the business.
