Neighbourly joins Bristol24/7’s Better Business network
Neighbourly is an award-winning community investment and engagement platform, connecting businesses with thousands of local charities and good causes across the UK and Ireland to make a positive and measurable impact in our neighbourhoods.
Companies including M&S, Starbucks, Lidl, Heineken, Aldi and Innocent use Neighbourly to donate volunteer time, funds and surplus food and products through their programmes to a range of charities and community groups, including food banks, health charities, schools, youth organisations and more.
Most recently, Neighbourly launched a brand new environmental programme ‘Seeds of Change’, which combines both funding and employee volunteer support from key business partners to help local good causes create and protect green spaces and run initiatives that help create a positive carbon impact.
For Neighbourly, being a part of Better Business and contributing to the local community in which it is based is a core part of its purpose as a business. As one of the UK’s first B Corporations, Neighbourly is a for-profit company certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency – ensuring responsible and purposeful business at the heart of everything the company does.
Recently growing to over 50 members of staff, the Neighbourly team is itching to get involved in all that Better Business has to offer, connecting with the amazing array of businesses, good causes and community projects that are the beating heart of Bristol.
“At Neighbourly we believe that local is truly where the difference is made so, as a Bristol-based business, we are delighted to be supporting Bristol 24/7’s Better Business and the fantastic local community projects they have built and backed that deliver such a positive impact for people across the city,” said Steve Butterworth, who is the chief executive.
