Newicon joins the Better Business network
A company that has been at the heart of the city’s burgeoning tech scene for the past 16 years has joined Bristol24/7’s Better Business Network.
Newicon bosses say they share similar goals of wanting to make Bristol and its surrounds better places to live and work.
The company, which has a head office in Redcliffe and offices at Bristol & Bath Science Park in Emersons Green, creates custom software for a range of different industries and businesses. Expertise range from apps that connect an entire internet of things (IoT) infrastructure to e-commerce platforms that form the heart of a digital transformation.
As part of the network, Newicon hope to partner with an even wider community of businesses, helping them harness the power of innovative thinking, design-led processes and custom-built software.

Newicon also helps businesses come up with solutions to problems faced with what it calls an Agile Architecture.
As part of the company’s goal to help Bristol in its growth as an innovation centre, it takes pride in offering educational content (such as blogs and a podcast) and events, helping businesses in the area get to grips with ways of utilising the various technologies available to them.
Becoming a part of Bristol24/7’s Better Business network is an opportunity to further these goals.
Mark Probert, Newicon’s chief sales & marketing officer, said: “Bristol24/7’s Better Business Network and Newicon are ideal partners.
“We both have a love and passion for all things Bristol, and share similar goals to help the city and the region prosper. We’re very excited to get to work with the network, putting on events and networking with like-minded businesses.”
