Stylemongers Of Bristol’s interior design workshops coming to Stokes Croft

By Rachel Sutherland  Monday Jan 16, 2023

Masterclasses in all things interior design are being held in the heart of Stokes Croft.

The creative workshops are being taught by the woman behind the award winning interior design studio Stylemongers Of Bristol.

Founder, Zoe Hewett, who has been running her workshops for over six years, is encouraging people who don’t have any previous experience in interior design to come along to her workshops in The Mild West Room in Hamilton House, Stokes Croft.

Better Business
Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

The workshops are aimed at homeowners who are planning to refurbish a room or renovate their whole property, or those who would enjoy a day of creative learning.

Zoe, who is a former set and costume designer for theatre, said: “People get really stressed about choosing furnishings for their homes and ‘getting it right’, especially when they have an older property to do justice to.

“I do empathise because there’s infinite choice out there, decorating is disruptive and it gets expensive so I try to alleviate some of that indecision and pressure by sharing my design method.

“I encourage my workshop participants to trust in their ideas by teaching them a mixture of theory and how to break the rules, and the practical skill of mood boarding to test out their visions, so that later they can feel certain when when it comes to making long term investments in things like curtains or sofas.”

The workshops are taking place on Saturday, February 25 and Saturday, March 25, from 10am until 4.30pm.

Tickets are £200 and include lunch and all-day refreshments and all workshop materials.

No previous experience is necessary.
