Does this feel familiar?
Whether it is a house full of kids, a bad WIFI connection, a lack of human interaction or just a desire to leave the house, we all have our own individual reasons why home working isn’t perfect. Perhaps you’re dreading the idea of working from home again. Are you losing touch of your home feeling like a home and feeling more like a workspace. Waking up at work, going to bed at work and repeat….
This scenario is becoming a growing concern and a drain on happiness amongst the people who were used to seeing teammates and having daily structure. We are hearing stories of loneliness, procrastination, lack of productivity and energy, and Zoom calls becoming overwhelming. Of course, there are benefits to home working, some days it suits your plans, but wouldn’t it be great to have more options of where to work. We all want to have a great work-life balance, and separation between where we work and where we relax – beneficial not only for our wellbeing but also for our productivity levels.
The pandemic has caused so much change and we all have had to adapt. Bristol is home to so many amazing businesses, entrepreneurs, and has become a great hub for startups. Now many businesses are rethinking where and how they work. Employee happiness and the ability to decide how they work is a hot topic, and the want to be back in a flexible workspace is growing.
So, can a coworking space be the answer for when working from home just isn’t working?
Introducing DeskLodge – Bristol’s biggest coworking space
What if there’s an inspirational and motivational workspace that has Covid safeguarding measures in place and work zones such as a Tardis, an Alice in Wonderland world, and even a shire.
