Bristol studio named as one of the best places to work in UK TV industry
A visual effects studio, located on the edge of Castle Park, has been named one of the best places to work in the UK Television industry.
The award-winning company, Moonraker VFX, which has done work for Disney and Netflix, was ranked by Broadcast as one of the top five places to work in its ‘non-indie’ category.
The studio, based on Wine Street, was highly rated alongside other Bristol-based companies – Offspring Films, RDF West and Wildstar Films.
The ranking recognises Moonraker VFX’s commitment to its people, culture, and its projects delivered across the broadcast, immersive and visitor attraction sectors.
Its rating is also based on data collected from a employer and employee engagement survey which looks at the studio’s practices, programmes and benefits.
Jon Grafton, co-founder and managing director at Moonraker VFX, called it “an incredibly proud moment” for the company.
He added: “Celebrating our tenth anniversary this year, we’ve worked hard to build a workplace and culture that invests in both the well-being and personal development of our team.
“This is recognition of that journey and our long-standing belief in the value of investing in creative talent across the South West.
“We’re proud to be representing the Bristol creative hub, alongside several other businesses all at the cutting-edge of the UK broadcast industry.”
