Flight training firm for MOD opens new HQ in Bristol
Ascent Flight Training has opened new headquarters in Bristol Business Park at Stoke Gifford, extending the company’s legacy in the city.
The Bristol-based training solutions provider was appointed in 2008 to design and deliver a modern and efficient flying training system by the UK Ministry of Defence.
Created as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin UK and Babcock International, it is responsible within the UK Military Flight Training System (UKMFTS) for the training design and training delivery that creates the next generation of aircrew.
The new training hub will host Ascent’s 145 Bristol-based employees – part of the 410 strong team that the company employs at sites across the UK.
