Freelance Mum launches two new hubs in Bristol
Two new hubs to support mums who freelance and run their own businesses have opened in Bristol.
Freelance Mum‘s North Bristol Hub will meet at The Ardagh in Horfield while the new Central Bristol Hub will meet at St George’s Bristol, off of Park Street, from May 18 and 23 respectively.
The two groups will meet once a month to “netwalk”, enabling mums in business to network and bring their children.

Freelance Mum was founded by Faye Dicker in 2013, as there wasn’t a network that supported parents in business.
The North Bristol hub will be run by Faye and another freelance mum, Claire Callaghan, who is a physio.
While the Central Bristol hub will be run by two other local business leaders and mums: Carly Cannings of The Happy Business School and Charlie McCall, from Fit For Adventure.

Faye commented: “It’s a real joy to launch the new hubs in Bristol and have more growth in the city.
“St George’s Bristol backs onto Brandon Hill, lending itself to a stunning netwalk and a great central meeting place.
She added: “Our North Bristol hub is a real joy to launch together with our friends at YTKO, who provide support and training for small businesses and wanted to reach north Bristol.
“It was great to come together and launch a brand new hub in north Bristol, where there is clearly a need to support fellow mums in business.”
The Bristol hubs will join others in Somerset, North Somerset, South Devon, Winchester and Southampton, with more coming later in the year.
