New Bristol BT office set to open in summer 2022
The West of England metro mayor, apprentices and graduates have been given a tour of the new BT office in Bristol, which is set to open in the summer of 2022.
The 13-storey building, called Assembly, is part of the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone and will be a hub for more than 2,000 BT employees.
The multi-million pound waterfront development will also include a rooftop wildflower meadow, balconies and large terraces on the upper floors.

Dan Norris, the West of England metro mayor, said it was a “pleasure” to have a tour of the new building, calling the views from the top “stunning”.
“I’m delighted that our city is becoming a key location for the company, cementing our position at the heart of the UK’s digital economy,” he said.
On his visit, the metro mayor met with BT apprentices and graduates, who could end up working in the new office.
“Where you work is really important, so I think this kind of workspace will inspire colleagues and help create a good working environment,” commented Sinmiloluwa Oke, who is part of BT’s graduate scheme.

Graeme Paton, BT’s managing director of property and facilities services, added that the new premises will “transform” the way BT staff work.
He said: “Although many of us have been working from home successfully over the last year thanks to technology and connectivity, we also know that modern office environments are vital.
“The buildings we work in play a huge part in how we feel and how we collaborate with each other.
“Our new offices will help us attract and retain brilliant people and we look forward to welcoming colleagues into this great new building when it’s complete.”
