New multi-million pound car showroom opens
A new multi-million pound car showroom has opened in Bristol.
The new showroom, by car retailer Waylands, will sell the latest range of “stunning” Volvo vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
Construction work began on the former Rolls Royce site in FIlton in 2019, and is said to have been completed on time despite coronavirus restrictions.
The new 17,000 sq ft space will also have a lounge area designed with Scandinavian furniture and offer complimentary Swedish cakes and coffee to visitors.

John O’Hanlon, chief executive at Waylands, says he is “delighted” to welcome future car buyers to the showroom.
He said: “With restrictions now lifted, there is plenty of demand for car buyers to experience the latest vehicles and technology the automotive industry has to offer – and what better way to do so than with a state-of-the-art showroom?
“We invite customers new and old to check out our new home and enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat with the team. We’re sure to offer a memorable experience for anyone that comes through our door.”
