New workspace for creatives coming to Bedminster
Ben Steers and Jason Smith came up with the concept of a workspace especially for creatives while trying to find a base for their own company.
The founders of Bristol-based Fiasco Design realised they weren’t alone in their goals and set about making their vision a reality.
The result is Gather Round, which opens on the ground floor of the Cigar Factory, on Raleigh Road, Bedminster, this summer.

The space is designed ‘for creatives by creatives’

The concept behind Gather Round was to create a collaborative workspace for creative professionals
The aim was to design a co-working space that promotes and supports creativity and business growth through positive workspace and culture.
Ben and Jason promise Gather Round will be a space that genuinely encourages community and collaboration between like-minded individuals.
The company will offer flexible working spaces (including fixed and casual desk spaces) for freelancers and individuals, alongside private studios ideal for small to medium sized business, with each part of the build curated to ensure a positive and stress-free working environment for all.
Ben and Jason didn’t want to just create a space to work, they also wanted to build a hub that brings the creative community together, encourages the sharing of skills and the development of new ideas.
As a result, Gather Round promises plenty of open areas for group gatherings and plans to regularly host a programme of events and workshops that will be open to both members and non-members alike. Memberships come with a number of perks, including 24/7 access and complimentary tea and coffee.

Gather Round is set to open its doors in June
