Sustainability bootcamp being held for businesses
Amid the climate crisis businesses in the city are embracing sustainable ways to function.
Cutting carbon emissions and ensuring little or no impact on the environment is made, are some of the things which are featuring in organisational sustainability plans.
To boost knowledge of what can be done to improve or create a sustainable brand, YTKO West of England, is holding a skills bootcamp in organisational sustainability.

The 10-week long skills bootcamp, delivered by experts in sustainable businesses, is funded by West of England Combined Authority and is being delivered by YTKO – a non-profit organisation which supports entrepreneurs and is based in Redcliffe.
For people who are self-employed, unemployed or sole traders, the bootcamp is fully funded.
Small to medium sized enterprises, with less than 250 employees, will only have to pay for 10% of the bootcamp, which costs £1,000 in total.
If your small to medium sized company has more than 250 employees, then the course will be 70 per cent funded, meaning it would cost the business 30 per cent of the total cost (£300).
The bootcamp will run from January 18 – March 15, 2023 and will be a mixture of online and in-person classes. Find out more about how to enrol online.
YTKO is also holding a fully funded 5-week course, starting in January, to help people improve their mathematical skills.
