Get three free rides with Slide
Sponsored Feature
Bristol’s ride-share service Slide cleverly connects local people who travel a similar route to work with the Slide app. Slide is giving £15 free credit so that new people can try the Slide service.
Unlike a bus, it doesn’t keep stopping, you’ll get to work in a fraction of the time, leaving more time to enjoy your morning. That’s enough time for a bit of morning exercise, extra time with the kids before school, an extra coffee or another couple of snoozes on the alarm!
Here’s how to book your new hassle-free ride to work in a few simple steps.
● Check if Slide operates in your area on their map here:
http://www.slidebristol.com/map
● Download the Slide app and sign up, it’s free!
● Enter your home and work address to find available ride
There are three easy ways to pay:
● Pay upfront on a ride-by-ride basis (from £4 to £7 depending on distance).
● Save money with Slide credit.
● Buy a monthly unlimited pass.
Here’s how it works
● Slide uses pickup and drop-off points that are usually no more than a couple of minutes’ walk away.
● Your app will update you on when your Slide will arrive at your pickup point and give you directions on a map, where you can even track the Slide van’s location!
● When your Slide is about to arrive, turn up at pick up point and be greeted by one of their friendly drivers, and some fellow passengers.
● Slide operates during peak commuting hours, 6:45-9:45 am and 3:30-7:30 pm Monday to Friday. So long as you’re travelling in these times you can use Slide for your regular ride to work, or even catch an early morning dentist appointment, or after work gym session!
To get you started, right now Slide are giving you £15 in free Slide credit, just for signing up. That’s up to 3 free rides! Just download the app here.
