Top mental capacity law firm welcomes ‘high-calibre’ education specialist
Enable Law, a specialist mental capacity and personal injury law firm, has bolstered its Bristol team with the appointment of a recognised Special Education (SEN) expert who had previously worked for a rival firm.
Rukshana Koser joins the firm’s Bristol office in Glass Wharf from the Gloucester-based Langley Wellington, where she worked until 2022 and led its specialist education lawyers team.
Rukshana, who qualified in 1997, has over 25 years of experience in the sector, having worked at a string of esteemed law firms such as Lumsdon & Grindley Solicitors, A. E. Smith and Son, and Martyn Solocombe & Company.

Rukshana’s expertise encompasses advising on education, health, and care plans, as well as managing complex appeals to the SEND Tribunal related to the education, health, and social care needs and provisions for children and young people with significant disabilities.
She also handles cases involving disability discrimination in schools and safeguarding issues within the education sector.
Recognised by Chambers and Partners as a Band 3 solicitor in Education Rukshana has enjoyed her role in mentoring aspiring legal professionals along the way.
With a fluency in Urdu and Punjabi, she has expressed her commitment in making legal services accessible to a diverse clientele.

With offices in Plymouth, Bristol, Taunton, Truro, London, Southampton and Exeter, the firm has further bolstered its team with the recent addition of Dominic Shard, an education specialist with previous professional experience in the NHS.
