Better Business is an initiative launched by Bristol24/7 to help businesses thrive, whilst creating a positive impact on Bristol and the people who live here.

With £1.8m in government funding, the project plans to maximise efficiency to create strong systems that are more weather resilient.

Another project received £1.4m in funding. ‘Photonic Inertial Sensors for Automotive’ plans to improve the safety and performance of autonomous vehicles through sensor innovation.

The project will reduce reliance on vulnerable external signals and create navigation sensors that are more resilient to environments.

Zero Points West said: “This project will  accelerate  ZPM’s  roadmap into the automotive sector  bringing to the UK a key strategic  sovereign capability”.
