Eating while suspended 100 feet in the air
A taste of the high life is coming to Bristol next year when some of the city’s top restaurants host pop-up meals with a difference as diners are suspended 100 feet in the air.
The table seats 22 guests strapped into their seats with three safety belts, with a head chef, sommelier and waiting team serving from a kitchen in the centre of the table dangling from a crane in Waterfront Square next to the Lloyds Amphitheatre.
is needed now More than ever
Harvey Nichols executive chef Louise McCrimmon has already been confirmed when Events in the Sky visits Bristol from September 7-10.
With nine sittings per day, guests with a head for heights have the choice of breakfast (£50), lunch (£125), dinner (£150), afternoon drinks (£75) or evening drinks (£75).
Events in the Sky’s Dale Agar said: “With the success of London in the Sky, we’re looking forward to visiting Bristol in 2017 to recreate this converted event partnering with Bristol’s best chefs and restaurants. Guests will enjoy a breathtaking dining experience with spectacular views of Bristol Harbour.”
In addition to Bristol, events will be hosted in Glasgow, Newcastle, London and Southampton next year.
Events in the Sky has been operating in the UK since 2009, with events also happening in cities across the world including Los Angeles, Saint-Tropez, Kuala Lumpur, Brussels and Rome.
