Bristol stars in new series of Broadchurch
Producers have revealed that Bristol will be the star of the show in the third and final series of Broadchurch.
The high-profile drama was filmed over a period of nine months at The Bottle Yard Studios, Hengrove. The studios are the largest dedicated TV and film facilities in the West of England, and regularly play host to stars of the screen. Other recent, high-profile productions filmed at the Bristol studios include Sherlock and Poldark.
Eagle-eyed viewers will spot several other Bristol locations in the series, including Temple Street, Victoria Street, Whitchurch Lane and Avonmouth Docks.

Natalie Moore, from Bristol Film Office, said: “It’s a great sign of how strong the pull of our film-friendly city is becoming, when a major, established production like Broadchurch can find everything it needs in Bristol.”
The eight-part series, which stars David Tennant and Olivia Coleman, begins at 9pm on Monday 27 February, 2017, on ITV.
