Sustainable business network Future Leap has opened the city’s first carbon neutral media studio.
Future Leap Media Studios are located on Oakfield Road in Clifton, inside the Old Chapel, and are available for anyone to use – from budding podcasters to accomplished filmmakers.
Beneath a co-working and event space, the brand new media studio in the basement houses a film studio, podcast recording rooms and a photography studio that can also be used for meeting or green room hire.
is needed now More than ever
Hear from Bristol spaces manager Deepika Kesar and marketing and communications manager Iris Hable who tell Bristol24/7 what the facilities offer Bristol in a podcast recorded in the studio:
The podcast studio is custom designed with high quality audio and film equipment and a separate recording and mixing/ control room.
Next door, there’s a large studio space for rehearsal and event hire or studio hire with lighting where green chroma infinity cove and kit are available to hire.
Finally, there’s a photography and filming space available with optional paper chroma backdrop and kit hire options.
Future Leap has partnered with Films@59 and 18Sixty for all equipment hire and post-production needs.

“It’s been incredible to see the transformation of the space,” said Iris.
Deepika added: “Bristol has such a large creative community and this space really is for everybody.
“It can be used by small businesses that are looking to use podcasts as a new marketing tool or by established media companies that just need a bit of extra space to do voiceover work or filming.”
Established in 2005, Future Leap has become one of the largest green business networks in the UK, with two co-working spaces in Bristol.
