Get Qweird returns for a second season
Get Qweird is returning this winter for a series of queer live art and drag performances at Lost Horizon.
The event will be running over eight weeks, with a different queer artist, member of Get Qweird season one alumni and open mic act performing on Wednesdays.
The performances will be hosted by James Crawley, known as the clown and drag artist Astro-Zenica.
is needed now More than ever
Astro has reportedly sourced a coffin for Episode One, promising a daring new show that provides a comedic social commentary on both the times in which we live and recent high-profile deaths.

Get Qweird is “a radical queer space where we respect one another, uplift one another, celebrate one another and offer care to one another”.
Organisers wrote: “Curiosity is essential. With laughter too, not a space to take ourselves too seriously. Trans, non-binary and gender-non-conforming folk are the heartbeat of our community; no phobias of any kind welcome or bringing each other down.
“A space of growth and development. We’re excited to bring you more clown, more sex, more joy, more darkness, more silliness, more gender euphoria, more community, more connection.”
The series will run between Wednesday and December 7. Tickets to the shows are all found on Headfirst.
