Bristol’s favourite art-rave returns with a weekend exhibition at Loco Klub

Bristol LGBTQ+ art rave hosts Conqueer have announced their first multi-room event of 2024.

Taking place at the Loco Klub on March 9-10, they will be bringing together numerous queer artists working across all genres for an immersive and celebratory weekender of visual, performance and interactive art, as well as audio and fashion.

The participating artists include Laurie Cousins, Empty Brains, EX.ICON, Hebe Rusk, Reuban Brown, Daniel DeWolf, Skye Turner, Jocelyn Brett, BLXONDIE, Katie Gulson and Buoys Buoys Buoys.

An exhibition opening night party on the Saturday will feature Mvcoko (Howl), Miss Cabbage (Ponyboy), K-Rush (Crotch) and Ohana (Queerky) as well as live visuals from AVVA Studio.

For those preferring a more relaxed ambiance, Loco Klub will be opening its doors again on Sunday afternoon where there will be performance art, market stalls and workshops alongside the exhibition.

The Conqueer Weekend is at the Loco Klub on March 9-10. The opening party is on Saturday at 8pm-3am, and tickets are available at www.headfirstbristol.co.uk. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The Sunday exhibition takes place at 1-6pm, and is free to attend, though donations are welcome.
