Livingstone St Ives announces 2024 open call for artists
Originating in Cornwall where it still has a home, Livingstone St Ives sources and exhibits modern and contemporary art from leading artists in the region.
In 2021 director and curator Alicia Livingstone opened a second gallery space on The Mall, Clifton, currently exhibiting work from still life painter Lara Voce.
For spring 2024, Livingstone has announced an open call to discover new talent from artists working across all media – from textiles to painting, printmaking, jewellery, photography and ceramics.

“Our gallery is committed to representing the most exciting emerging artists and promoting their work to the public,” she says.
“There are so many amazing artists are out there, creating innovative, striking, original pieces and we want to find them. This Open Call celebrates making art and we welcome any artist, at any stage of their hobby or career.”

As the springboard to a commercial exhibition, a selection of 30 of favourite submissions will feature at a private view in June, during which Livingstone will select her winner, and a judging panel will choose three runners up.
Five artists featuring in this collection will be invited to submit work for a future exhibition at Livingstone St Ives.
