Office windows transformed into art exhibition

By Helen Prince  Tuesday Aug 16, 2016

Portwall Lane offices are providing an unlikely home for Bristol art with artist Susie Ramsay teaming up with legal firm DAC Beachcroft to transform the front windows of their offices into an on-street art gallery.

The exhibition entitled Street, Lanes and Skylines features ten paintings by Ramsay of Bristol landscapes including Corn Street, St Nick’s Market and the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Taking place until November 18, the windows facing the covered walkway near Chatterton’s Cafe are set to provide original on-street art for hundreds of passers-by from its unique location.

Susie said that her new exhibition is “a fantastic opportunity to build upon Bristol’s reputation for on street art”.

She added: “My work aims to capture the beautiful buildings and skylines of Bristol, and I’m very excited to present these to the hundreds of commuters who pass through this space every day.”
