New billboard celebrates independent businesses
A new billboard adorns a corner of St Werburgh’s celebrating just some of the area’s independent businesses.
The billboard on the corner of James Street and Mina Road features an illustration by artist DazCat.
‘Let’s go get some local food’ says a woman walking a dog, with illustrations of the Farm pub, Liyas, Napolita and Sonni’s.
is needed now More than ever

The Farm pub is a slice of countryside in the city

Liyas cafe promises “wrapalicious food”

Napolita serves homemade pasta and pizza

Sonni’s is much more than just a convenience store
The billboard is the latest installation for the Burg Arts Project by Adblock Bristol.
“By providing a positive alternative to corporate advertising, the Burg Arts project is part of the wider community campaign against the eight corporate advertising billboards in the area that are often promoting fast cars, junk food and multinational chain stores,” say the Adblock Bristol team.
