‘Reduce greed now’
A corner of Bristol most recently used for creative advertising has become the location of some site-specific artworks.
A small patch of grass between Trinity Street and Clarence Road close to Trinity has been unofficially renamed as Old Market Lawn.
Positioned on it are three carvings: one giving its new place name, one carved with the words ‘reduce greed now’ and one left blank.
is needed now More than ever

The addition of the stone carvings to Old Market Lawn is a reminder of the days when Turbo Island on Stokes Croft was covered in grass and featured several miniature Easter Island heads.
