Silent Hobo returns to brighten up County Ground
If you have travelled through Montpelier railway station, you will recognise the work of Silent Hobo.
The work of the Bristol graffiti artist can also be seen in locations across Bristol including the side of the Three Tuns pub on St George’s Road and on Little Bishop Street in St Paul’s.
During lockdown, Silent Hobo has been continuing to work at the County Ground in Ashley Down while no cricket can be played.

He originally gave Gloucestershire Cricket‘s home a makeover in July 2019 and has now added some more colour to two groundsmen’s huts.
Blue skies, natural vegetation and wild animals feature prominently in the new piece, with some of Bristol’s trademark colourful houses spelling out the word ‘Gloucestershire’.
Silent Hobo previously worked with the club last summer ahead of the first Vitality Blast match at Bristol to re-imagine scenes from cricket’s past – including a giant depiction of the legendary WG Grace – as well as painting some famous Bristol landmarks from the Suspension Bridge to Concorde.
The drystone wall that lines the bottom of the larger hut where the new work is located will be where new bike racks will be placed once cricket can once again be played at the County Ground.
