Four tales of horror by Bristol author

By Joanna Papageorgiou  Thursday Oct 30, 2014

If you’re looking for some spooky reading this Halloween, then JR Park from Stoke Gifford may have just what you need. His first book, Terror Byte, was published on September 23 and he has set himself the challenge of completing three books by next March.

“My aim is to write short blasts of horrific entertainment,” Park told Bristol 24/7. “My books aren’t set in Bristol although some descriptions of places certainly have their inspirations from around the city.”

In Terror Byte, an entire office is slaughtered in broad daylight and a grieving detective has to battle the MI5 among others to save the world from some lethal programming code.

The second book, Punch, is out on November 15, the third is to be published in January and the fourth has been roughly plotted and is set for release in March.

“I have so many ideas and stories that have been buzzing around in my head that I am keen to get them all out whilst I have the momentum.”
