Grounded Circus’ LGBTQIA+ cabaret club night ‘Queer as F*ck’ returns
Following the success of their sell-out debut Queer as F*ck event, Grounded Circus have announced the cabaret club night will be returning on July 14, and will then happen every few months, with a fresh lineup each time.
Producer Rowen Kimpton, who is also a handstand artist, is curating the cross-genre bills to feature performers from the worlds of circus, drag, and burlesque.
“I’m excited for Bristol to have a platform to bring legendary drag and cabaret icons to the city to perform alongside Bristol’s abundance of homegrown talent,” he says.

“Bristol has such a thriving LGBTQIA+ community, and has the highest density of circus performers in any UK city – it’s only natural that a queer circus has sprouted from its roots.”
The upcoming show will feature the London-based musician, rapper and star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 4 (BBC Three), ‘Hey, Baby’, alongside the world-renowned burlesque icon, Cleopantha, who will be fresh from guesting at Cardi B’s birthday earlier in the year.

The night will be hosted by self-styled “cabaret demon and go-go gremlin” Sneeze, along with a raft of guest performers – from hula queen Hoopsy Daisy and pole-dancing powerhouse Rob thecircusboi, to reptilian drag queen Lolo Brow and drag daddy, Manly Mannington.
Kimpton will be showcasing an all new acrobatic act, and the night will conclude with a sprinkling of disco classics from DJ Remy Melee.
