Circomedia to host community circus open doors day

By Sofia Webster  Tuesday Jun 4, 2024

A community open doors day is being hosted at St Paul’s Church on Saturday.

The programme for this free event at the Bristol base of Circomedia has been specially curated by local creative Norma ‘Rubba’ Stephenson and includes circus and street dance activities within the church on Portland Square, with Caribbean food from Big H.

The community event will include family-friendly activities such as youth circus have-a-go sessions with Circomedia teachers and street dance workshops with Bristol Dance School, Funk it Up.

The event, running between 10am and 4pm, will operate on a drop-in basis, with everyone invited to join in at any time on the programme of activities.

The event is free of charge. However, Circomedia is a charity which is always grateful for any donations.
