Bristol Improv Theatre announce bumper autumn season
Fresh from a storming summer season of Bristol Comedy History Walk (co-created with local comedian and educator Angie Belcher), Bristol Improv Theatre are moving into the autumn with a characteristically eclectic programme of shows, courses, workshops and events.
There is plenty to attract the interested novice to the art of improv, storytelling, live performance, or comedy, as well as regular takeovers of the space including ‘feminist paintalong’ and ‘crappy craft club’ sessions with local artist, Geetlush.
For seasoned improvisers, there are opportunities to take intensive or longer term courses in performance, developing characters and singing songs, or just to drop in and hone your craft in ‘improv gym’ sessions.

Audiences can look forward to a host of regular shows, from improvised game show The Bish Bosh Bash to new episodes of the epic fantasy quest Tales of Adventure, The Antics Joke Show, and This Is Your Musical.
Practitioners of American longform will be joining the autumn programme, as well as improvised sketch comics The RH Experience, the UK’s first Pan-Asian improv group Comediasians, and – in time for the Halloween season – creators of the improvised hit, Murder She Didn’t Fright.
