Kamali is currently on a five-week tour with his twice award-nominated show for children, Mr Sleepybum, which comes to The Redgrave Theatre on October 28, during half term.
The show title was suggested by his then five-year-old daughter Ariana, who also inspired its creation by asking every morning about her father’s dreams.

“This is a great idea for a kids show!” he thought, going on to take Mr Sleepybum to the Brighton, Buxton, and then Edinburgh Fringe in the summer of 2023.
Running at a whirlwind 45 minutes, the show is a joyfully chaotic romp through the adventures that can take place in our dreams.

It is replete with sketches, act-outs and interactive elements that keep the whole family involved, from dodging balls and swimming with sharks to solving the mystery of the chocolate cake thief.
Mr Sleepybum will be touring all around the UK throughout October and November, with further dates still to be added.
My Sleepybum (age recommendation 3-8) is at The Redgrave Theatre on October 28 at 1pm. Tickets are available at www.mrsleepybum.com or www.redgravetheatre.com.
