Jayde Adams puts out casting call for new comedy show
Bedminster comedian Jayde Adams is seeking fresh new talent from within Bristol for her new ITVX show – and no experience is necessary.
The actor and writer who was recently voted off Strictly Come Dancing has put out a call for people between the ages of 17 and 22 to audition for the comedy series, Ruby Speaking, which is due to air in 2023.
Set in a call centre in Bristol, the show will see the comedian look back at her own life as she recreates her experience working at a call centre.

The comedy series, which will be filmed in the city, will follow Jayde’s character – Ruby – as she deals with her own misfortunes while also navigating other people’s issues, often putting them before her own job.
Jayde, who is also set to return to screens in BBC drama Alma’s Not Normal, as well as embarking on a UK stand-up tour and a role in a Take That jukebox movie, posted the casting call on social media.
