is needed now More than ever
Opening last year from the same team behind nearby Bottles & Books, Sidney & Eden replaced Alchemy 198 on Gloucester Road,
Louis and Beth have teamed up with local acts and promoters Greg Winfield and Burt Williamson to deliver the regular weekly night of standup.

“The Bristol comedy scene has exploded in recent years, and the quality and variety of acts that Bristol boasts is second to none,” said Greg.
“Gloucester Road is synonymous with independence, and in many ways is reflective of Bristol’s reputation for creativity and expression. It’s the perfect place to bring exciting, in your face comedy, late-night shows, fresh new voices and diverse acts.
“The Comedy Den is the kind of room where the best comics of tomorrow will blow up, and the biggest names of today will come to work out their material and practice their touring shows.”
The club’s launch is on Wednesday, where the show promises “big names and big laughs”. Tickets are available now with the show starting at 8pm.
