Russell Howard for tonight’s NKKP fundraiser

By Steve Wright  Thursday Sep 3, 2015

Russell Howard has been confirmed as a late addition to tonight’s special fundraiser at The Lantern, Colston Hall, in support of the Cube Cinema’s Nepal Kids Kino Project.

NKKP is a mobile cinema project that screens films to children in rural areas of Nepal, who have been displaced from their homes by the recent earthquakes. The project’s ethos is to use cinema to offer community, stories, laughter, light and distraction to these displaced children.

Howard, who grew up in Somerset and lived in Bristol while he was taking his first steps in comedy, is now a household name and TV favourite but regularly returns here for impromptu gigs.
