Shindig Weekender announces full 2018 lineup

Shindig Weekender are continuing to live up to their funky and colourful reputation with the lineup for their 5th year.

The announcement sees names like Dub Pistols, Mr Scruff and Slamboree join the already excellent bill which will take place at Gilcombe Farm in Bruton from 25 to 28 May. Headlining the event is the world famous Soul II Soul who are celebrating their 30th anniversary.

They have also revealed that this years theme is ‘Over the Rainbow’ – so are encouraging revellers to adorn themselves with the colours of the rainbow to make it a bright and beautiful weekend.

Comedy has also been added as a new development this year, which includes Phil Jupitus and Mark Thomas amongst other key names bringing laughter to the farm.

Festival co-founder Will Lardner says, “This year we are so excited about our line up. We can’t wait to welcome them all to our corner of Somerset – especially Soul II Soul because they embody the spirit of Shindig – filling dancefloors with good vibes and music”.
