Oscar nomination for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Wallace & Gromit’s latest adventure, Vengeance Most Fowl, has been nominated for an Oscar.

The team from Aardman are up against Flow, Inside Out 2, Memoir of a Snail and The Wild Robot in the animated feature category.

Emilia Pérez leads the way in the 97th Academy Awards with 13 nominations followed by The Brutalist and Wicked both with ten.

Vengeance Most Fowl was released in cinemas before being shown on BBC One on Christmas Day and then released worldwide via Netflix.

The Wrong Trousers from 1993 and A Close Shave from 1995 are previous Wallace & Gromit animations that have bagged an Oscar, with Aardman winning four Academy Award statuettes in total.
