Music and foodie favourites launch tasty summer collab
Bristol burger afficionados are joining forces with the music lover’s independent radio station of choice.
Oowee burgers has teamed up with Noods Radio to launch a new summer menu, featuring zingy green chilli salsa and special edition dirty fries.
A celebratory launch party will take place at Mickey Zoggs, the St Paul’s home of Noods that was recently threatened with closure.

Noods launched a crowdfunder after they were given an ultimatum to either ‘buy the pub or get out.’ They managed to raise over £75,000 to secure the building – formerly the Surrey Vaults – at the end of June.
The team has run the pub as a gathering space for people interested in local, independent music as well as their broadcasting venue since 2021.
Since then they have launched a programme to support women and non-binary people into radio broadcasting, and a CIC that works to help young people enter the creative industries.

The Oowee x Noods celebration party will kick off from 6pm on July 26.
Friends of the radio will broadcast live from the pub, a burger drop allows people to try the special before it comes to diners on July 30, and an exclusive t-shirt will be available in “extremely limited” numbers.
The t-shirt, created by Welsh illustrator James Lacey, features a mystery burger hotline, which the Oowee x Noods team are wondering if anyone will be brave enough to call.
