Ashton Gate to host new all-day music event

By Mia Vines Booth  Friday Jan 5, 2024

A major new multi-artist concert featuring “the biggest and most popular artists in the world” is coming to Ashton Gate this summer.

Ashton Gate Presents BS3 will feature ten acts across two stages at the stadium in June.

The Arctic Monkeys, the Killers, Elton John, Muse and the Spice Girls have all performed at the venue in recent years, and now organisers want to use their past expertise in concert operation to deliver a new event for south Bristol.

Ashton Gate venue director, Jenny Hutchinson, said: “We have fine-tuned our concert operation, teaming up with experts in the industry to ensure we deliver a truly spectacular concert.

“We are always proud to deliver memorable experiences for our audiences, so we are thrilled to be able to present our own show at the stadium.

“Ashton Gate Presents BS3 will lay the foundations for us to deliver more multi-artist shows in the future.”

Organisers said the event’s name represents the stadium’s “deep-rooted pride in our local community and our commitment to delivering an event that brings the biggest and most popular artists in the world to Bristol, while also reflecting the diversity, artistry and musical heritage that the city is famous for”.

The first artists on the lineup for the event on June 22 will be revealed on Monday but pre-registration is now open.
