Bristol artist supported by local charity signed to two record labels
Recording as The Impossible Bus, Mark Loughlin, who is supported by Milestones Trust, has recently been signed to not one, but two record labels after sending demos to 40 different companies.
Berlin-based Diadem Records have already released five of Mark’s tracks with another 17 in the pipeline and Filthy Traxx, a label based in Bournemouth, are also set to release tracks from the musician very soon.
Previously a creative director working in graphic design and advertising, the pressures of the role, including deadline and client expectations affected Mark’s mental health and resulted in a decline in both his quality of life and career.
is needed now More than ever
After five difficult years, he turned to Milestones Trust for support with his recovery.
Four years on, and with the help of music therapy Mark has rediscovered his passion for techno, breakbeat, progressive and house.
Of the signing, Mark says: “I’m very happy with the results of my music and art therapy being recognised by an independent label and with the support I’ve had in achieving this success from all here at The Recovery Hub and Milestones Trust.”
