Bristol Culture Clash crews announced
Red Bull Culture Clash has selected four musical groups to battle it out at the Passenger Shed in March, with tickets already sold out.
Butterz Sound, DJ Die Presents Gutterfunk, Stylo G’s Warning Sound and Pinch’s Team Tectonic will battle each other for the Bristol Clash championship title. The contest will be hosted by Bristol mainstay MC Dynamite.
Red Bull Culture Clash, spawned from Jamaican soundclash culture, pits DJs against each other over the course of four musical rounds.

Butterz Sound, a grime and club-music conglomerate, consists of artists P Money, Footsie, Swindle, Royal T and Flowdan.
Stylo G’s Warning Sound, a mix of dancehall sounds and MC skills, features members Chip, Diztortion, Fekky, Harry Shotta, Macky Gee, Phantasy, Shabba D, Dkibadee and Stormin.
DJ Die presents Gutterfunk sees Bristol drum & bass icons Roni Size and DJ Krust joined by DJ Shadow and Photek.
Team Tectonic is headed up by Bristol dubstep king Pinch, who previously won Bristol’s 2014 Culture Clash under the banner of his club night Subloaded.
After the Bristol showdown, the Culture Clash will move on to Manchester where four more crews will scramble for the crown at Old Granada Studios. The biggest Red Bull Culture Clash will occur in London’s ExCel event space on June 17, 2016.
In past contests, the Bristol Clash has featured DJ superstars like current hitmaker Major Lazer.
The Culture Clash contests are the product of Red Bull Music Academy, which brings together 70 talented artists from throughout the music industry for intimate lectures and collaborations.
