By Issy Packer  Friday Sep 30, 2022

Bristol rapper Emz features on the soundtrack for FIFA 23.

READY4DEM was released earlier in the year and is a huge collaboration between Emz and drum & bass outfit Watch The Ride, comprising of DJ Die, DJ Randall and Dismantle.

The music video for the song was filmed around Bristol, including Lawrence Hill roundabout and the Cumberland Piazza skate park.

Since the track’s release in February, it has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and Apple Music’s Dance playlist. It has hit more than million streams and received support from BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

Following on from the positive response to the track, it was quickly picked up by EA Sports to be featured on the last in the series of the FIFA video game.

With a performance at Glastonbury Festival under his belt as well as being announced as one of the new voices on Charlie Tee’s drum & bass show on BBC Radio 1 and now being featured on FIFA 23’s soundtrack, Emz is certainly one to watch, proving, once again, that Bristol is never lacking in talent.

His next release, titled The Liege, is due to be released on October 28 ahead of his stage show at Motion’s Halloween event.
