By Issy Packer  Saturday Feb 24, 2024

Celebrating 20 years of Busted, the trio have been announced as the latest headliner for Bristol Sounds as part of their anniversary tour.

The band join already announced headliners Placebo, James Arthur, Skindred, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Skints and The Breeders, with one final night yet to be announced.

Bristol Sounds returns to Lloyds Amphitheatre for its tenth anniversary from June 22 until 30, with seven evenings of music planned including three all-day concerts.

Headlining on June 27,  the gig will be Busted’s first show in Bristol since playing to a sold-out O2 Academy in 2017.

Attendees can expect a performance featuring their biggest hits, including Crashed The Wedding, Thunderbirds Are Go, Year 3000 and Air Hostess.

Conal Dodds, event promoter at Crosstown Concerts, said: “Busted resonates with several generations of music enthusiasts, and their fans have a deep connection with the band, returning time and time again to see them doing what they do best, at their very best.

“They’re celebrating 20 years and we’re celebrating 10 years of Bristol Sounds, so it’s a perfect match for us.”

Presale tickets go on sale on Wednesday with any remaining tickets on sale on Thursday. For more information and tickets, visit https://bristolsounds.seetickets.com/tour/bristol-sounds
