Could Take That be playing at Ashton Gate stadium in 2024?

By Martin Booth  Thursday Sep 21, 2023

Take That look likely to be playing a huge outdoor gig at Ashton Gate in the summer of 2024.

Nothing has been confirmed yet but the band’s logo was projected onto the outside of the stadium on Wednesday night prompting online speculation.

Take That last performed at Ashton Gate in 2019 – their first Bristol show since 1992 when they came to the Colston Hall during their first ever UK tour.

In 2019, Muse, Rod Stewart and the Spice Girls also performed in BS3; in 2022, Elton John and the Killers played; and in 2023, Arctic Monkeys were the one live act.

The Rolling Stones famously played at Ashton Gate in 1982.

Stadium bosses have previously promised “a bumper concert season next summer”, with Take That unlikely to be the only big musical names to grace the home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears in 2024.
