Eats Everything & Adam Beyer go back to back

By Adam Burrows  Wednesday Jun 3, 2015

Dan Pearce (pictured), otherwise known as Eats Everything, is one of our most successful musical exports. Although he grew up in Wotton-Under-Edge, he’s very much a product of the Bristol clubs scene, with residencies at Ripsnorter and Scream years before his late flowering as a producer.

Since 2011, his tough but uplifting blend of house, rave and bass music has made Pearce one of UK dance music’s most wanted artists, with releases on Dirtybird, Hypercolour and our own Futureboogie, and a global touring schedule that’s quickly made up for lost time.

In 2013 Pearce launched Edible, a series of parties known for big name guest bookings and extended sets from Eats himself. This month he’s back in Bristol for the second instalment of Edible Seasons, a series of four Bristol events that began at Coroner’s Court back in January. His guest at that one was the mighty Sasha, which left a pair of pretty enormous boots to fill.

Fortunately, if there’s one man who’s up to the job it is Swedish techno giant Adam Beyer, who joins Pearce at The Marble Factory on June 5. Beyer has been a big draw since the mid-’90s and anyone who’s immersed themselves in his sets of dark, propulsive techno will know that his mixing and track selection are second to none.

The Edible Seasons session will see Pearce and Beyer play back to back through the night after sampling the delights of the local food scene in what’s been described as “Come Dine With Me, Bristol style.”

Edible Seasons is at The Marble Factory on Friday, June 5. www.marblefactorybristol.com
