Elpac and Grove collaborate on brand new single

By Issy Packer  Thursday Feb 8, 2024

Bass-futurist and Amity co-founder Elpac has released his newest EP with lead single, Talk Small, featuring Bristol vocalist and producer Grove.

Ode to Brentry Road was released via local record label Amity on February 2.

Elpac’s EP is the second release to come from the label, following their breakthrough V/A compilation Kills Two Birds last year featuring the likes of Cassius Select, Dual Monitor & Pluralist.

The producer released his debut EP, Off Pattern, in 2022 with Ode to Brentry Road being his third release since.

The EP features four cuts of dancehall-influenced club material with the lead track boasting Grove’s signature vocals, the esteemed MC and producer is well known for their edgy and confronting dance and electronic hits.

The track sees Grove’s first release of 2024, following their EP P*W*R PL*Y which was released last November.

The four track EP features distorted and mind-bending beats, the raucous and pulsating melodies are immediate dancefloor fillers.

Ode to Brentry Road proves to be boundary-pushing piece of work, firmly cementing Elpac, and Amity, in the Bristol music soundscape.
