Historic music venue shortlisted for Music Week Awards 2024

Thekla has been shortlisted for the Grassroots Venue: Spirit of the Scene Award at the Music Week Awards 2024, supported by Music Venue Trust.

The Music Week Awards are the UK’s only music awards that recognise labels, publishing, live, retail, A&R, radio, marketing and PR.

Each year the awards are peer-voted and judged by an independent panel of specialist judges.

The other finalists in the category include Barrow Underground Music Society in Barrow-In-Furness, Cafe Koko in London, The Green Door Store in Brighton, Hare & Hounds in Birmingham, Le Pub in Newport, Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast, Omeara in London, The Leadmill in Sheffield and Windmill in Brixton.

Now the shortlist has been finalised, voting is open to the public to decide who will win the award.
